Foundation Youth Church
The Youth Ministry of Life in Christ Church
Where God is glorified
We are the church. It is important for us to realize that where ever and whenever we gather, regardless of the circumstance, we are the body of Christ. Our desire is to train ourselves and our students to care for and challenge each other like Christ cared for and challenged His disciples. We believe that each of us are members of the body of Christ, and consequently members one of another (Romans 12:4-5). Living like Christ and for Christ also includes caring for the needs of people who are not Christian as He says in Matthew 25:36-40: ‘I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
We are not trying to take the place of worshiping with our friends and family of diverse ages and backgrounds, we are simply trying to show our students that being the church means caring for others and allowing others to care for them.
- Foundation Youth Church meets on Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:45pm
- Foundation Youth Church is for students in grades 7th-12th
- Foundation Youth Church is a safe place where students are cared for emotionally, challenged intellectually and encouraged spiritually.
We are calling out this generation of young people to heed the teachings of Christ in their lives. Our goal is to encourage and give opportunity to our young people to become self-feeding servants of Jesus Christ. We believe there needs to be a new generation of Christian leaders to turn the hearts of the people back to God.
In this culture of quick fixes, our students are building a FOUNDATION that will stand the test of time. We pray every week for our students that the Holy Spirit will continue to fill them with strength and power to take captive every thought and every artistic or scientific argument to make it obedient to Christ.
